The 2023 Preseason WNIT takes on a different shape this November, with three teams taking part in one of the oldest women’s basketball events on the calendar.
 
On Nov. 9, Utah will play host to South Carolina State; Utah then hits the road for the other game on the slate, playing at Baylor on Nov. 14.
 
The inaugural Preseason WNIT took place in 1994, with Washington beating Texas Tech for the title. The 2022 event featured four teams in Colorado, Jackson State, Louisiana and Texas Tech.
